Don Sailer received his doctorate at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in America’s religious history with an emphasis on revival, reform, and renewal. He also received a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.

Rev. Sailer has pastored churches in Wisconsin, Illinois, Alabama and Nebraska. After graduating from TEDS, he started the Community Church of West Bend, WI for the Baptist General Conference in 1986. Currently, he is the pastor of the River Valley Evangelical Free Church, a new church plant of the Evangelical Free Church of America, in Arapahoe, NE.

In addition to being a pastor, Dr. Sailer is also an affiliate professor at Colorado Christian University in the department of adult and graduate studies. He teaches courses in the History and Literature of the Old Testament, Early Christian Literature, Interpreting the Bible, Introduction to Theology, Acts and Pauline Epistles, Old Testament Narrative and Law, Old Testament Prophetic Literature, Christian Apologetics, Worldviews, and Personal and Social Ethics.

Don Sailer married Karie Barber in 1983 and they have eight children. They love the Green Bay Packers, warm weather, and Jamaica.
